The colossus in the Keith Monks range: the world’s first – and only – twin deck RCM. Described as the ‘king’ of record cleaners, launched in 1973 and still in use in many BBC record libraries, the British Library, the Library of Congress and other major institutions and organisations.
This unique twin turntable model is a totally unique product built to special order only, which can be configured to customers' own specifications - record diameters up to 16", adjustable fluid release for different size discs, single bidirectional suction arm or separate arms for each deck, cabinet finish, etc etc.
The Mk.III ‘Gemini’ speeds up the cleaning process (dries the last record while at the same time washing the next) and is especially useful for studios libraries and archives, broadcasters and other high volume users, those who want to shuttle between different cleaning fluids on different decks, or those who simply want the full spec BBC unit where money (and space) is no object.
The deck and cabinet for the Mk.III are made to order, and delivery of finished Mk.IIIs is typically 8-10 weeks aro.
All units are carefully hand-built in Great Britain by our skilled engineers in our new 2000sq.ft production facility - keeping pace with the renewed and growing demand for the best and most famous Record Cleaning Machine in the world.
