Digital: A New Problem

Despite the huge leaps forward in affordable digital media, those huge leaps have resulted in the shutdown of record pressing plants and the deleting of many titles as other formats take over.
Some titles have been digitally re-mastered, but nothing ever sounds like the original, others will never make it back on the shelves again in any shape or form.

These facts are reflected in the rapidly growing number of used record stores opening up all over the United States, Europe and other parts of the world. The need to maintain valuable record collections is now absolutely imperative.
